A quick search on google will return a plethora of answers on how to manifest using the laws of attraction but hardly any are talking about how to manifest using spiritual dance. Using dance for manifestation purposes is an ancient practice and is a gravely overlooked tool in our modern age. When a person is uninhibited and frees themselves from self consciousness there’s tremendous power waiting to be utilised using this technique. Other cultures and religions such as Umbanda and Candomble are very aware of the power of dance for mediumship and manifesting personal desires.
However much of the time a rigid western outlook coupled with a rational nature undermines our ability to connect with these higher frequencies. With spiritual dance you are able to set your inhibitions aside and enter a magical world of manifestation and relationship with spirit.
Whether you are a graceful swan or an awkward elephant like me, spiritual dancing has something very valuable to offer. The sacred dance can help you to obtain material benefits and connect with the spirit realm.
Connecting With Spirit – Spiritual Dance
Dancing can become a magical process when the dancer is swept up by spirit and it turns into a spiritual dance. In the moments when I enter into spiritual dance I am overcome by an energy and it is like I have been temporarily possessed by a benevolent spirit. I am no longer dancing as myself, but I am moved, I am danced and I move in unison with a subtle vibration.
I am the dancer and the witness at the same time and whilst I am always in control of my movements at every moment, I am a host and welcome these subtler energies. I instinctively know how to move with the energy and dancing goes beyond an art form and becomes a meditation.
By syncing your internal rhythm, visualisation, emotion and intention you can use a higher frequency through spiritual dance to manifest your desires and connect with the spiritual realm.
Music and Spiritual Dance
Very sensitive people can easily detect the vibratory nature of the music they consume and may find that they inexplicably understand the subtle energy even when the musician sings in a foreign language.
Some sounds work harmoniously with your vibratory nature whereas some will be felt as destructive or chaotic so it is important to tune into the frequency of sound to discern, which frequencies work harmoniously with you.
Spiritual Dance Embodies The Five Elements
Earth
Earth encourages grounding through our feet. By paying attention to your legs and your feet as you dance you can experience a deep feeling of grounding and feeling rooted to the earth. You can witness when your thought forms (air) take you out of your body and guide the energy back into your body or redirect it back to the ground. You can tune into what is ready to be released or what needs to be grounded. Earthing is an important element for the dancer as we need to be able to sense and therefore anchor any chaotic energy that does not serve us and become aware of where we are not embodied.
Water
Water lends itself to flow and feminine energy. With spiritual dance you can utilise this spirit of adaptation to flow with the music, you can tune into the softer, seductive and sensual vibration connecting with your divine feminine nature. This is when you can really let go and fall into the music and release your cares about how you look. This is not meant to be a pretty process. Water energy has the added benefit of connecting you with your intuition and emotions. With water you let your body move as water, let your hips roll and let your energy sway.
Fire
Fire is symbolic of passion and aliveness. Through fire we raise our frequency and begin to sweat. This energy can act as the spark that sets our manifestations on fire. It is the frequency that raises our vibration to match the vibratory reality of our goals and dreams. It is sexual energy and is the seat of our creative energy. Intense emotions are required to anchor our dreams into our time-space reality and fire invokes these emotions. We can use the energy in fire to alchemise and create our dreams.
Air
Air like wind can blow through us helping us release any energy blockages. Air is also the realm of thought and through our intentions we connect to air. We also become aware of any thoughts and beliefs that no longer serve us. By holding your intention and/or a clear picture during spiritual dance you begin to dance with the spirit of your dreams.
Ether
Ether represents the mystic nature of spirit and is present by incorporating all (four) other elements. It is the space that all the other elements fill. It is the consciousness or space that is being filled through the use of the four elements. Spirit dance fills the void (space) with intention which is limitless and boundless.
