Divine Sex & The Healing Power of Sexual Energy

It has been said that those with a lot of sexual energy are often natural healers… so why does sex get such a bad rap? Sex has gained a notorious reputation as something bad, naughty or sinful… as though humanity would exist without it! With the influence of porn culture, the objectification of the feminine body and centuries of conditioning… something once sacred became twisted into something shameful, dirty and impure.

Many women absorbed this distortion so deeply that it became part of their internal identity. They were taught to silence their bodies… fear their desire… and mistrust their own pleasure. The tragedy is that most women don’t even realise this isn’t their truth… it’s conditioning.

The inverted narrative around sexuality has separated us from one of our most powerful spiritual tools… divine sexual energy.

(And honestly… I still ask myself… if they didn’t want the apple eaten… why leave it there as décor? I have questions!!!)

Divine Sex and the patriarchy

There’s a running joke online that women blame everything on the patriarchy… as though it’s some mystical scapegoat for every problem under the sun… but where there is smoke there is often fire.

The Goddess was erased from monotheistic religions.
Feminine power was suppressed.
Sexuality was demonised.
Desire became dangerous.
A woman’s body became a battlefield.

Eve becomes the symbol of temptation and downfall, punished for wanting knowledge… seduced by a serpent… responsible for humanity’s pain.

(But again… why place a cosmic fruit bowl of forbidden apples in the centre of paradise? Who sets up a temptation altar and then blames the woman???)

This has had far-reaching consequences. Modern women struggle to climax, struggle to connect to their sensuality, and struggle to feel safe in their bodies. The disconnection is not accidental… it’s generational.

Some spiritual circles reinforce the distortion by praising only the “pure”, soft feminine while excluding her darker, deeper, more embodied counterpart… the one who is turned on by life, who knows her power, who feels her energy pulse like ancient fire.

This is where divine sex becomes confused with its distorted shadow:
• sex that is mechanical
• sex that is transactional
• sex without consciousness
• sex without presence

At that point it becomes two bodies merely masturbating.
It may release tension… but it will not feed your soul.

Divine Sex and Magic

Humans crave the divine.
We crave deep soul-connection.
We crave communion.

Sex is one of the passageways.

When two souls meet with aligned energy, full presence and open hearts… something mystical awakens. The veil thins. Consciousness expands. Breath becomes prayer. Bodies become temples. You taste the divine nectar through the experience of orgasm… and in that moment you are not just physical… you are cosmic.

Sacred sex can:
• release old imprints
• clear emotional debris
• align timelines
• support manifestation
• awaken dormant power
• open intuitive channels

Sex is magic.
Sex is creation.
Sex is energy in motion.

When the body is honoured as a temple, the body speaks clearly.
Her yes is unmistakable.
Her no is sovereign.
Her wisdom is ancient.

Yet we have been taught to mistrust her.
Our primal instincts have been used against us through conditioning.
Our sacred knowing has been muted by shame and fear.

When Were We Taught To Be Ashamed of Sex?

So where do we draw the line between liberation and distortion?

When does:
• desire become addiction?
• openness become self-betrayal?
• freedom become unconsciousness?
• pleasure become harmful?
• sexuality become low vibrational?

The truth is… sexuality is not inherently dangerous.
It becomes distorted only when disconnected from love, awareness and embodiment.

The real enemy is shame.
Shame suffocates the sacred.
Shame silences intuition.
Shame disconnects us from the body.
Shame blocks pleasure and healing.

Summary

When we make conscious choices about who we share our bodies with… when there is no harm… when there is emotional safety, consent and mutual respect… sex returns to its throne.

Sacred.
Healing.
Creative.
Powerful.

Sex becomes divine when it is an expression of love, embodiment, breath and presence. When we honour our bodies and our sexuality… we reclaim an ancient part of ourselves.

Into… Me… See.
Intimacy.

We start a revolution when we no longer carry shame around our sensuality. When we remember that divine sexuality is not something to hide… but something to honour.
